This website was created for one reason, to reach bible believing, born again Christians with a simple message that needs to be heard. Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost over 2000 years ago. Before He ascended into heaven to prepare a place for all who receive Him, He told his Apostles to preach the gospel of salvation to all who would hear and receive it and to make disciples of those who received His message.
The gathering of believers in the early church worshiped and prayed together. But they also formed regional groups called Ekklesia or congregations, we refer to these today as churches. But the word “church” does not appear in the original manuscripts of the New Testament. The word ekklesia is used in the original texts and manuscripts of the New Testament and it has a very special meaning. The newer translations of the bible changed the word Ekklessia to church. The word “Church” as it is know today represents something very different than the word Ekklesia.
The word not only means the gathering in Greek, but it also means “The Called Out”. Jesus Christ has called us to come out from the darkness and into His marvelous light. To not only repent from our sinful ways and believe on His saving grace poured out for us on the cross at Golgotha, but to become born again with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit so that we can successfully walk out the remaining time of our lives as followers of Jesus Christ and not just fans. When we are born again with the spirit of God, we become heirs of the Kingdom of God with Christ and our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of life destined for an eternity with the Lord.
We have been taught by the traditions of man that man needs religion. There are many different religions in the world today. Even Christianity (The following of Jesus Christ) has been injected with religion and the institutionalization of the faith. There are not many Christians today that know how the early church worshiped or how the believers lived out their lives for Jesus Christ back in the days of the Apostles. I am going to shock you now by telling you that there will be many religious people who will not go to heaven and there will also be many non-religious people that will go to heaven!
Religion is not a requirement to go to heaven or to have a relationship with God. Receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord is the requirement. I know that this may sound very arrogant to some that have been born into religion. But I do not wish to offend anyone here. But the truth will offend many and Jesus warned us of this. A simple faith in Jesus Christ is all we need.
